WAKING UP FROM A COMA
It looks like our friend Idi Amin has not kicked the oxygen habit just yet. According to hospital sources, he has emerged from a nearly week-long coma and his condition is improving.
In other news, the President of Uganda has announced that if Amin dies, he will not get a state funeral but his body can be returned for burial. And to complete the trifecta of bad news, Ugandan embassy officials visited him in hospital. Their reason? “In our culture visiting the sick is very important.”
It seems like it is the Ugandan government that has just woken up from the coma, bereft of any recollection of Amin’s bloody legacy.
