Hamas Support Group of Western Australia

A friend writes the following to me from Perth:

On the bizarre front, somebody placed a death notice in yesterdays West Australian. It read:
Shanab (Ismail Abu) Sincere sympathy to family, friends, and Hamas. Freedom fighter. Hamas Support Group WA
Somebody tried to place a similar notice
Shanab (Ismail Abu) Sincere sympathy to innocent Israeli victims and family There [...]

Andrew Muncie from Scotland and Andreas Koninek from Sweden, two peace activists with the International Solidarity Movement, were deported early Wednesday evening. The two men were taken into custody on the 17th August after they chained themselves to a house which the Israeli military had scheduled for demolition.
