Inane Danes

Still on the subject of ambassadors, this news from The Media Line:

Carsten Damsgaard, the Danish diplomat whose homosexuality incited a flurry of protest among Denmark’s Christian fundamentalists, begins his term as the country’s ambassador to Israel on Monday.

Young Danish protesters clashed with older conservatives following Damsgaard’s appointment in May. The younger people accuse the conservatives of homophobia and being pro-Israeli.

Funny how these young protesters are so blinded by their hate of Israel that they fail to realize that Israel made no issue of the ambassador’s sexual orientation, and are allowing him to live with his “partner”. I wonder how many of the Arab states would be that tolerant.
