England have defeated Australia in the Rugby World Cup Final. Congratulations to my English readers and commiserations to my fellow Aussies.
I have another reason to be sad about the result – I had a bet with my English friend Matthew, with whom I bet on the results of all England vs Australia sporting contests. So I guess I owe him a beer this time. I can still take heart in the fact that the all-time beer count based on our bets is approximately 15-2.
