This is right where I drive each and every day, both to and from work. The place is about 5 minutes from my house.
Police sappers detonated a bomb found in a milk carton near Beit Shemesh Tuesday afternoon. Based on the type of explosives used, the attack is believed to be terrorist-based.The bomb was found in a petrol station nearby the village of Messilat Zion, between the Sha’ar Ha-Guy intersection and Beit Shemesh.. Police were summoned and the road was blocked while the bomb was diffused in a controlled detonation.
And here I was feeling relatively safe..
