Egypt’s “Positive and Constructive” Role

The Jerusalem Post reports:
Egypt has begun playing a “very positive and constructive” diplomatic role in the region, with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak placing significant pressure on Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat and PA Prime Minister Ahmed Qurei to stabilize the situation, a senior Israeli diplomatic official said Tuesday.
“Positive and constructive”? I am not yet convinced.
