Having said that, there are two reaons for restricting immigration:It is undesireable to let unrestricted numbers of people immigrate on the telling counts which Enoch Powell eloquently stated.The second is sobering,the possibility of Islamo-fascists and terrorists entering the country. That is no scare, since that is precisely the grave problem within Britian and Europe.
