Israeli Cabinet of Bloggers

Update: New appointments:

Minister of Student Affairs: Josh – A graduate student in Jerusalem

Minister of Wildlife: Hebrew Lion – Need you even ask

Ministry of European Affairs: Entre Nous, Bert

Minister of Anti-Idiotarianism: Benjamin

Israeli Ambassador to US: Yael

Inspired by Damian Penny’s cabinet of Canadian bloggers, I have done the same for Israeli bloggers, as a way of promoting their blogs. I know I myself discovered some new Israeli blogs along the way.

Note that many of these Ministries don’t actually exist, but would exist if I was appointed PM.

Minister of Compassion: Imshin – Read her writings and you’ll see why

Minister of Zionism: David Bogner – Living in Efrat and thus doing his bit to prevent Judah and Samaria from becoming Judenrein

Minister of Women’s Issues: Allison Kaplan Sommer – Author of My Uterus: Home of the Whopper

Minister of Communication: Balagan – Producer of the Israeli TV Knesset channel

Minister of Defense: Only in Israel – A blogger currently serving in the IDF

Minister of Public Relations: Shai – Eloquently articulates the issues

Minister of Sport: Anglosaxy – Will hopefully instill in Israelis his own fanaticism enthusiasm for soccer and other sports

Minister of Sound: Harry – Our very own blogging muso

Minister of Technology: Expat Egghead – Talks the tech talk

Ministers of Foreign Affairs: Lila, Oscar

Ministers Missing in Action: Tal G, Gil Shterzer

Ministers Without Portfolio: Gil, B, ly_ly

If you are an Israeli blogger, or know of one, that I have left out of my cabinet, or were included but feel you are more suited to another ministry, let me know and we’ll find a slot.

In true Israeli fashion, my first act as Minister of Zionism is to bring a motion of ‘No Confidence’ to the floor. No special reason…kacha.

Of course, after reading tomorrow’s blog entry you may revoke my tik! Stay tuned.

    Michael,

Are you located in Israel, or are you Israeli? If so, I will add you.

If not, you will have to wait for my “Jewish bloggers” cabinet!
