I know the Israeli army mistakenly kills innocent people, sometimes takes the lives of young innocent children. There is no blood that is more precious on one side or the other, no mother’s tears are sadder than the other, and no futures lost that is more painful. An innocent Israeli death in as such is no more tragic than an innocent Palestinian one and vice versa.

However there is one big difference.

Intent.

The Israeli army, were it capable of turning back time and redirecting its missiles in such a way that it would avoid innocent bystanders and still get the terrorists, they would without a moment of hesitation.

Were Palestinian terrorists to have a chance of turning back time and redirect their missiles, they would not only kill this child again, but would aim so that the whole nursery would rise in flames.

Of course an Israeli life is not more important that a Palestinian life. The only difference is the intention.

As long as this remains true, I will remain a proud Friend of Israel.

I would also like to say that same you I condemn the killing of this poor 4 year old, we also need to remember that palestenian children are dying daily, and palestenian mothers are watching their children take bullets in the head all the time. These mothers too should not have to go through this. Terrorism is an enemy to all.
