AP reports that a United Airlines flight was forced to return to Sydney International Airport because of a “threat.”
Update 12:08PM: The Age reports that there was a “problem on board.”
Update 12:10PM: Ha’aretz are showing the following in their news ticker:
United Airlines flight lands safely at Sydney airport after attempt was made to break into cockpit (Reuters)
Update 12:15PM: ABC Australia are calling it a “non-specific threat” and “bomb scare.” Will the true story please rise?
Update 12:17PM: AP are now reporting that the plane returned because staff found on board a note carrying a bomb threat.
