IDF troops raided an engagement party on Wednesday in the West Bank city of Ramallah and arrested the would-be groom, participants said.Rami Barghouti, 28, a well known activist in the violent Islamic Hamas who has long been in hiding, was celebrating his engagement when Israeli forces surrounded the house.
Participants said Barghouti fled inside and tried to hide, but the soldiers opened fire all over the building and captured him. He was wounded, they said.
Gives new meaning to the phrase “Rules of Engagement.”
