What Happens When You Appease Terror

This next story is dedicated to those of you who attribute Islamic terrorism to the Arab-Israeli conflict or the war in Iraq.

Gold Medal Ceremony

Here is a link to the Gold medal ceremony, taken from Israeli television.

Notice the following “Israeli-isms”:

The Israelis in the crowd (and even Gal) are singing out of time with the music

Gal is still wearing his sunglasses on his head

G-d bless Israel!

Gal’s – and Israel’s – moment.
As I watched [...]

Israel has a new non-lethal weapon – the skunk bomb.

The Israeli army is set to unveil a new weapon designed to get under the noses of Palestinians – a massive stink bomb.    A report in the Maariv daily said that the military, which has long used tear gas and rubber bullets, was fine-tuning the so-called [...]

The corridor here at work is echoing with chants of “We are the Champions.”

You can bet that there are going to be huge celebrations tonight..

Update: And now for the reactions to this historic victory:

Gal himself:

“The feeling is amazing. You can’t describe it. [...]

Quote of the Day

“If things go right, I’ll be there about a week, and if things don’t go right, I’ll be there about an hour and a half.”
- 82-year old comedian Rodney Dangerfield, who is about to undergo heart valve replacement surgery.
Here’s to hoping that the operation goes smoothly for Rodney.
