Headline from CNN: France gives Spielberg highest honor
What would that be? The Your’e Alright For an Effin’ Jew prize?
Not quite.
President Jacques Chirac made U.S. film director Steven Spielberg a knight in the French Legion of Honor on Sunday, hailing him as a great filmmaker committed to fighting hatred and intolerance.
I do believe that the words French and honor just appeared in the same sentence.
