Missing your flight can be a real hassle. But then again, so can dealing with a non-existent bomb.
Police arrested a man Wednesday who called Arkia airlines and falsely reported a bomb aboard a flight from Jordan to Israel to avoid missing the flight, Israel Radio said.The passenger, a 65-year-old man from the center of the country managed to board the aircraft and told the captain that he was the one who reported the bomb in order to postpone the aircraft’s departure.
