Bomber Background

As I posted last week, the female suicide bomber who murdered two Israelis, while trying to murder a whole lot more, had a choice. And she chose to do evil.
In my post, I quoted Ha’aretz, who said she was from “the Askar refugee camp.” I also wrote the following:
Apologists will claim that she was desperate, and had no choice but to “resist the occupation.”
As it turns out, this terrorist was a well-to-do children’s television host.
The young 18-year-old female suicide terrorist, Zeinab Ali Isa Abu-Salem, who murdered two Israelis yesterday and wounded some 30 others, was none other than a children’s TV show hostess on a local station in Shechem.—-She comes from a very wealthy Arab family in Shechem, which owns the TV station where she worked.
This reinforces a number of points:
1. There was more chance of her being driven by a chauffeur than “driven by desperation.” (But as noted, this argument is never a valid excuse for murder).
Thank you to reader Dominic for pointing out the Arutz Sheva article.
