Christopher Reeve, Superman actor and worldwide advocate for spinal cord research, has died of heart failure.
Since breaking his neck in 1995 during an equestrian competition , Christopher showed what it is to live a life of meaning, despite a major disability.
Last year, Christopher visited Israel to study the country’s treatment of spinal injuries and further his campaign for stem cell research. While here, he made time to visit the victims of terror attacks.
Our prayers are with his family.
Update: As of now (8:00AM Israel time), Christopher’s death is hardly getting any publicity. Even the almighty Internet Movie Database is not reporting this.
