The Guardian reveals what frightens Britons most.
Britons are more scared of spiders than terrorist attacks and death, a new survey has revealed.Creepy crawlies such as the humble arachnid, cockroaches and other bugs were voted the nation’s number one fear.Terrorist attack came second in the poll of 1,000 British adults who were asked what made them most frightened.
Funny, because for me, spiders are a mere nuisance.

I’d have to agree.
I guess it’s all in the context. I mean, if someone asked me if I had any phobias or fears, or if I was scared of something, I’d have to say hypodermic needles. If someone asked me what I found most frightening in the world today, my answer would be quite, quite different.
