Anti-French Neurosis

Aussie Dave

What’s this? We seem to have struck a nerve with the French:

In an interview with Army Radio Thursday, French Ambassador to Israel Gerard Araud took a far less conciliatory stance than he took just a couple of days ago in an interview with The Jerusalem Post.

I think you have an anti-French neurosis,” Araud said. He complained that Israel accuses France of everything and “all anti-Semitic graffiti in Paris” gets top headlines.

Anti-French neurosis? I wonder if that is a real medical condition. We might never know.

But seriously, why the hissy fit? Surely, the Ambassador should have come to expect this from a sh*tty little country full of punks.

Then again, perhaps the Ambassador confused Israel with some other country. It could happen.

If anti-French neurosis is a medical condition, than millions of people suffer from it, not just in Israel, but Europe and America as well. I’m glad to hear it is a medical condition, because now we can expect some sort of cure in the future, let’s face it the world needs it. I myself suffer terribly at times, specially when arrogant French prime ministers, makes remarks to the Prime Minister of Israel that ‘Shooting children is no Policy’ based on a forgery made by his own government sponsored TV channel; or when he tells the people of the 10 new countries which joined the EU that they had bad upbringing, and they missed an opportunity to shut up; or when French officials are changing master Terrorists birth place on their death certificate, with no good reason’here we go again I’m feeling really bad this neurosis is killing me. I wonder can I call in sick today?
