Latest Terror Attack

PLO Arab terrorists last night killed 5 IDF soldiers – members of a Bedouin reconnaissance unit – and wounded 6 others.
Proponents of the cycle-of-violence theory of the conflict will view this attack as the response to some Israeli military action, which itself was a response to another terror attack. To these people, I say thus: read what the terrorists themselves had to say about the attack:
Hamas and Fatah claimed responsibility for the attack, in honor of “the martyr Yasser Arafat, who was slain by the Zionist hand,” claiming that it took four months to dig an 800 meter-long tunnel from Rafah to the crossing and that one and a half tons of explosives were placed in barrels inside the tunnel for the blast.
In other words, Hamas and Fatah perpetrated the attack because of their belief that Israel killed Arafat. This, despite evidence to the contrary.
Now read their statement again. Does anything strike you as odd? If the terrorists were perpetrating the attack to avenge Arafat’s death, then why did they start digging the tunnel four months ago? * This was well before Arafat died (a fact that even the left-wing Ha’aretz picks up on).
It is time to stop kidding yourselves. It is Israel’s very existence that motivates the terrorists to constantly attack us.
* Unless they had advance knowledge that he was going to die. In which case, if he was poisoned, they would have to be the main suspects.

These young Arab Muslim men were defending the country of Israel which they obviously loved. They had more courage than you could ever dream of. Your definition of courage is going on on pro-Israeli blogs and posting your support for the murder of Jewish women and children. What a coward!
What occupied territory are you talking about? There has never been a “Palestinian” country. You need to be educated on the real history of Israel. It doesn’t seem that you have any education judging by your grammar.
Stop the occupation of Jewish land by the Plo Arabs!

I don’t love terror and I don’t hate anyone. I just have enough inteligence to know nonsense when I see it (the world is flat, the holocaust never happened, there is no palestine). Whether there has ever been an actual nation called palestine is totally irrelevant. There has been a region of the world, commonly called Palestine whose population over-whelmingly by Arabs who call themselves Palestinians for hundreds of years — and thats ALL that counts. And I’m intelligent enough to who the good guys and bad guys are in this conflict.
(Though not intelligent enough to proof-read my posts, but I’m sure you are intelligent enough to know what I mean.)
It seems to be taken for granted by some , that Israel is occupied territory.That Jews have no place there at all.
What occurred at the checkpoint was stupid, senseless act that will do nothing help anybody’s cause but has devastated more families and hopes. Ken, even if you were right mate, you’re wrong about the tactics. It’s a sad day.
