Poison Rumors

The Arafat poisoning conspiracy theory is gathering steam, with yet another PLO Arab official claiming that their late leader was bumped off.

Yasser Arafat was poisoned over a year ago when he received a delegation of supposed supporters in his Ramallah compound, the late Palestinian leader’s cabinet secretary was quoted as saying.

“Something strange happened to Arafat around a year ago. It was on September 25, 2003…,” Ahmed Abdelrahman told the London-based Al-Hayat newspaper.

“The president shook hands with around 30 people before leaving to vomit. It was from that moment that the president’s health started slowly deteriorating,” he explained Monday.

“The president was exposed to something, and I’m inclined to believe it was maybe gas or something else. I don’t know about all the types of poisons, but there are some 700 that are unknown,” Abdelrahman said.

More like the president exposed himself.

Meanwhile, no prizes for guessing who Abdelrahman (and, indeed, the AFP) think is responsible.

Two weeks before the visit mentioned by Abdelrahman, the Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s cabinet had taken a decision to “remove” Arafat from his Ramallah compound, although without specifying by what means.

The threat, Israel’s most explicit at the time, had prompted expressions of support for Arafat, who also received the visit of several delegations.

Abdelrahman points to some red rashes as a possible indication of poisoning.

The cabinet secretary, who recorded the evolution of Arafat’s health in his diary, said red rashes appeared on his skin, the same ones which were visible on his face before he was evacuated to France for treatment this year.

Red rashes? I thought that poison would at least cause disfigurement. Then again, how could Yasser Arafat’s appearance have been more hideous?

“Ok, Yassie, turn your head and give me your sexy look. Pout your lips slightly. Yes..perfect. Now gaze intensively at the camera. Oh, yes! You have it!” *Snap* *Snap*

I think it is about time the Mossad got hold of Arafat’s medical papers, and kindly send it to the mayor media outlets, because this story is gathering momentum. Especially with the poisoning scandal in the Ukraine, the Palestinians’ claim is not as far fetched now, as it was at the time of Arafat’s death.

I live in Europe, and even here people began to consider (thanks to the anti-Israeli media) that it must have been the evil Israelis after all. When I try to tell them that Arafat most likely died of AIDS they don’t believe me.

I mean how hard can it be for the Mossad to get a hold of it, or a copy of it. Just in case, before it gets lost by ‘accident’ or before more rumours surface. We all know the theory of a big lie; if you repeat it often enough it becomes public knowledge. They managed to invent the Palestinian people, so inventing a little lie about poisoning must be child’s play for them.

Let’s state the bleeding obvious. Arafat was a 75-year-old man. What is so unusual for a male of that age to suffer from gradual or rapid physical decline resulting in death? This poisoning conspiracy crap goes down along with the Elders of Zion and 9/11 BS. It goes to show just how hard those with an agenda try to paint reality different. Again, no facts, plenty of stupid claims that appeal to the simple. All innuendo. One thing for sure.Steamed garlic doesn’t cure AIDS.
