This is pretty offensive to Christians. Why are you doing that?
offensive items:
1)Xmas instead of Christmas
2)Arafat as Santa
3)Sadam as Santa
I know you are very intelligent, and this would not have been done inadvertantly. I am sorry you are so mean spirited toward others.
Get a life Slammy.
If you can’t see that I am making fun of Saddam and Arafat, then I don’t know what else to say.
And what the truck is wrong with Xmas? It is just shorthand.
(mental note: why am I even bothering to respond to this)
It’s normal for people who don’t celebrate christmas as being the “birth of Christ” to say X’mas. My Jewish friends say it a lot, and a lot of non Jewish friends as well have chosen to say it, meaning that for them it’s about culture, not religion. I for one usually say “X’mas”, since I’m not a christian. I don’t see why this should offend those who are christians.
Also, the picture of Saddam couldn’t possibly be “offensive”. Santa clause isn’t a religious phenomena. It’s a made up one.
Hmm, why did I bother with this.
Its not offensive.
It’s not offensive at all. I think it’s pretty funny. I live in Ireland, which is seriously Chatolic, yet people still write X-mas. Why am I even bothering with this.
Well if you say that those were your intentions then I will believe you, but it does not necessarily come across that way to everyone.
To me, it seemed to trivialize the Holiday. I am not trying to start a controversy.
Even though it doesn’t seem worth your bother, thanks for the reply.
Ohh you’re STILL not back :p
I hope you don’t mind if I link you up. I even went and created a reader account and all that Jazz.
Happy after-chanukah.
