Laid to Rest, Over Three Years On

After more than three years of waiting, Nancy Morgenstern, a victim of 9-11, was buried yesterday, not far from where I live.
The reason for the delay was that according to Jewish law, you cannot have a funeral or sit shiva until the remains are identified.
At last, her family can have some closure.

Thanks for posting this. I was friendly with Nancy’s roommate, and I remember those first few months she was missing…horrid situation that it was. May her family be comforted.
