Bad Ideas

One reason why the Gaza disengagement plan is a bad idea:
Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s disengagement plan is a victory for the Palestinian people, the Palestinian terror group Hamas said.In Gaza, Hamas spokesman Mushir al-Masri called the planned Israeli pullout “a result of the heroic resistance of our people.”
One reason why the prisoner release is a bad idea:
A former security prisoner released in January 2004 in the deal struck with Hizbullah to secure the return of the bodies of three soldiers and businessman Elhanan Tannenbaum was one of two gunmen shot and killed by soldiers last Tuesday night while attempting an attack at Har Bracha, The Jerusalem Post has learned.
So many bad ideas, so little time.
Update: By the way, when the prisoners do this..
they are expressing their call for “victory” over the enemy, and not peace

I agree that this is a horrible plan that not only legitimizes terror but give credence to the phony “Palestinians” claim to Jewish land. This is a slap in the face to all the victims of terrorists and their family.
I’m sure that Sharon is doing this because of pressure from Bush who is trying to patch up America’s relationship with the disgusting Europeans. Unfortunately Israel is America’s sacrificial lamb. It is a tragic moment in world history.
