However, there are different beliefs regarding this. Some Rabbis state that this may be a spiritual battle (e.g. against assimilation), and not a physical one, although others state that it WILL be a physical battle. The exact details are not clear, but I do know that the Zohar (1:119a) states: "The Children of Yishmael will go up at that time with the nations of the world against Jerusalem." This seems to indicate that the Arabs and other nations will gang up on us! So according to this approach, it will not only be the Arabs, if indeed, such a battle does occur.You could argue that diplomatically speaking, what we are seeing now is some kind of "ganging up" on Israel by both the Arabs and other nations. For instance, just this week, we saw the London Conference which seemed to support the PLO Arabs, without focusing on their need to end terror.Whatever the actual final battle is exactly, it is clear that we will emerge victorious as you have stated. I have read Biblical commentary suggesting that the lynch pin for the whole area is Hezballah in southern Lebanon. My faith believes that 200 million will rise up against Israel and God will manifest himself in the victorious sustaining of Israel. Do you believe this and if so will they be Arab exclusively?
