Separated at Birth

Dead terrorist supporter Rachel Corrie, and a jawa

And on the subject of Corrie, her family are now attempting to sue Israel and the IDF for damages, arising out of her death.

This despite the fact that an IDF investigation ruled that it was an accident, and that the military prosecutor’s office decided not to press charges in connection with Corrie’s death.

Talk about beating a dead horse.*

* In the cliche sense, not as a reference to Corrie herself. Although…

dAWK’s just set up his online shrine.

Is this a snide reference about you Dave?

‘Finally, I ask just for this post that people abstain from leaving malicious, hateful, obscene, rude, etc, comments. There are plenty of sites around that are sick enough to be rejoicing in Rachel’s death. Go there and join your cadre – here is not the place.’

dAWK doesn’t understand that its his PLO Arab mates who are the ones who hand out the sweets and fire up spontaneous street parties when innocent people are murdered. Rachel Corrie’s death was obviously tragic, however she died as a result of an accident , not pre-meditated murder, and she knowingly placed herself in harm’s way. Are we allowed to say it was an accident or does he have a complete embargo on the ‘truth’? He’s got inside information about everything that happens.

She was used as a simple pawn. She didn’t have to step in front of a bulldozer. Accidents do happen. She could have handled things differently and lived to tell the tale.

Tragic death, but she must take some responsibility for it.

    Common, Jawa’s are cute, don’t insult the Jawa’s :)

Do you remember how her ISM fellows and friends tried to use a fraudulent photo series on her death to smear Israel?

I guess Rachel Corrie’s death was even more profitable to their agenda than her doings when alive.

If I were in the place of her parents that’s where I would look for monetary compensation…

Jawa and Rachel Corrie seperated at birth

    Yoda’s last words: “There… is… another… Shacklefod……” Rusty: “Rachel Corrie!!”…

A woman got crushed to death by a bulldozer, and you make jokes. Whatever you think about her politics, such behavior is utterly despicable. I would tell you where to go, but given that you have to live with yourself, I’m pretty sure you’re already there.

Thanks for the lesson in behavior, but it really isn’t necessary. Just because she recklessly endangered her life and paid the price, does not mean I have to treat her like the saint she wasn’t. In any event, I am utterly consistent with my Separated at Births – anyone is fair game.

Out of curiosity…your ISP is “Indiana Higher Education Telecommunication System.” You wouldn’t happen to be a US university lecturer, would you? If so, I would not be surprised…

Never said you needed to treat her like a saint, just a human being. The division in the Middle East isn’t between Israelis and Palestinians; it’s between those who advocate and practice (and joke about) violence, and those who find violence detestable. There are plenty of people of both persuasions who are Israeli and Palestinian. Corrie was on the side of the peacemakers.

    Class dismissed.

    Who is joking about violence?

Yep, Corrie was on the side of the peacemakers.
