The Devil’s in the Details

Coming to an Ebay auction soon: devil turtle!

An Indiana pet store owner says a turtle that was the only animal to survive a fire at the shop has developed an image of Satan’s face on its shell.

Bryan Dora’s pet store in Frankfort burned down last October. The red-ear slider turtle named Lucky is the only survivor of about 150 animals.

Dora said after the fire, an image appeared on Lucky’s shell that appears to be the face of a devil.

But don’t be afraid. Lucky has not let his encounter with the angel of darkness get to his head.

He said the turtle is not possessed but is very tame. He believes that in every fire the devil leaves his mark somewhere, and that Lucky was touched.

Despite this, many people are afraid.

Dora said many other people also say they have seen the image on the turtle, and get scared away.

I would personally be more afraid of encountering the pet store owner, for whom the wheel is spinning, but the hamster’s dead.

And why was this turtle spared from the fire?

“He was saved for a reason, everything else had perished, even the other turtles, and I think that reason is basically to let people know that he was down there,” Dora said.

Even if this was true, what did the turtle do to deserve time in hell? It must have been one rotten turtle.

Update: Here’s a picture of the alleged devil image.

Look’s more like a dragon to me.

This makes perfect sense; the Prince of Darkness, Lucifier, Old Nick choosing a turtle to reveal himself to the world -hahahaah.

But if the turtle seems a bit mundane and anti-climactic, read this account of devilish harrassment in the American suburbs:

    Dear Father

I have noticed a pattern in my growth in faith. The more I pray, and the more faith that I am graced with, the more I seem to be faced with increased temptations, an increase of my current health problems, and in increase in health problems of my loved ones.

Many times while reading Christian materials there have been power surges in my home with lights going out, and numerous light bulbs blowing out even after replacing lamps with new bulbs.

I have had almost constant computer problems when reading on line Christian materials, and while starting to type this message tonight, right after I typed my title, the computer, light, and TV in this room went out, and I had to restore the PC once the power came back on. It only affected this room of the house this time.

I have had 4 new tires blow out on my car while on the Interstate at different times during that last few weeks almost causing my car to crash. Two other times, I had two flat tires while my car was parked at home. The tires have been of different brands, and I have no enemies that I’m aware of that would do anything to my tires.

The list goes on and on, but I have tested this by going a whole day without praying, and things seem to return to normal. When I am spending much time in prayer, things seem to get worse.

Am I crazy, are these coincidences, or does Satan know that I’m praying, and if he does, does he have any kind of power to cause these things, and if so, why would he put so much effort in it? Although I consider myself a good person, I’m certainly not a great person, and I have many flaws. Why would Satan go after (if that is what this is) a person as myself?

I must say that I’m somewhat concerned about this.

I’m sorry I took up so much space, but I didn’t know how to explain this any other way.

    Could it be SATAN???????
