Ha’aretz reports:
The State Comptroller’s Office official who oversees the complaints of the public earns a salary of NIS 46,000 a month*, Israel Radio reported Tuesday.The Comptroller’s Office is the ombudsman arm of the government, and is responsible, among other duties, for examining allegations of waste and overspending.
Here’s a complaint for you, Mr Comptroller Official Dude: You are way overpaid!!
* Approx $11,000 per month. The average wage here in Israel is approx NIS 7,000 or $1,700)
