Former Crowded House and Split Enz drummer Paul Hester has committed suicide, at the age of 46.
By all accounts, Paul was more than just a great musician. He had a wicked sense of humor and was incredibly generous.
But beneath the showmanship and humor, lay depression, which has, tragically, resulted in his suicide.
He leaves behind his girlfriend, and their two young daughters.
Our prayers are with them at this difficult time.

I was damn upset to hear this when I got up this morning…..
my thoughts go to his wife and two daughters. may they somehow find peace.
I’m pretty sure he’d recently split up with his girlfriend.
Yes, Tony, you are 100% correct. I just read that he split up with his recent girlfriend (who was not the same one with whom he had the two children).
