The Predictable and the Downright Surprising

In Bizarro World, these are some of the Israeli news items you might read about:

 

  • Right-wing Knesset Member Effie Eitam apparently suggests disarming evacuees ahead of pullout

  • A B’tselem report says the disengagement plan could potentially undermine the rights of ‘settlers’

    •  

    Actually, these are real news stories from today. Go figure! 

     

    But for those of you freaked out by this, I offer you some of the more predictable stories from today:

     

  • IDF troops have arrested PLO Arabs trying to smuggle arms (including anti-aircraft missiles) across the Israeli Egyptian border

    •  

  • Despite the so-called ceasefire, Hamas continues to arm itself, and the PA are not only not doing enough to stop terror, but are, in some cases, aiding terrorists

    •  

  • Proof is offered that Syria is lying about its involvement with terror organizations
