It was an April Fool’s gag.
Some of you worked it out from intuition, while others noticed the italized letters spelling out “April Fools.” The heading of the post – Calling it a Day – was even an obtuse clue.
To those of you who were excited by the prospect of an Israellycool-free blogosphere, bad luck. I don’t intend on giving up ay time soon, and especially not over something as trivial as the number of comments on my site.
I am glad the vast majority of you seem to have taken the gag in good humor. If I offended anyone, I sincerely apologize.

I so like your sense of humour. Keep up the blogging – I read you and LGF everyday. It’s true that most of the time I agree so whole-heartedly with what you say that I don’t think I can add anything useful! It certainly doesn’t mean that I don’t appreciate what you say – quite the opposite.
