Quote of the Day

“I once believed that celebrity could be used to promote a Godly message. I regret that I didn’t see that if the Godly message is there’s only one God and it’s not us, that can’t be promoted by people who are posing as gods themselves. There’s an inherent contradiction in that

- Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, attention-seeking, former friend of Michael Jackson

And speaking of inherent contradictions..

Rabbi Boteach, a Lubavitcher, was also critical of “Australia’s sweetheart” Delta Goodrem. While he was promoting his latest book, Hating Women, on Channel Nine’s Today show, Goodrem was also on the set launching a new range of lingerie.

Yep. He just hates the celebrity culture, doesn’t he?

I stopped reading his columns ages ago. So irrelevant. I’d prefer reading what Britney or Madonna has to say. Well, not really.
