His comments are incredibly dumb rather than antisemitic (note that he does say that he is "revolted" and "violated"by the Holocaust).His problem is that he fails to understand why we learn about, and keep hearing about the holocaust...Its not about guilt...its about making sure it doesn't happen to anyone else, anywhere, ever...The problem is that his comments will probably be taken - by the sorts of mental pygmies who desecrate jewish graves - as an endorsement of their views. It will also further sour our relationship with Israel a nation that despite recent, diplomatic hiccups, most New Zealanders see as a friend.I'm not denying that there is antisemitism in New Zealand...there is...I just don't think JT is part of that. Its an election year so they don't want this as an issue. I wonder what he has to do, to actually get what he deserves?
