One Day at the Ranch

Cogniscent of the fact that the US and Israel did not see eye-to-eye regarding the settlement issue, US President George Bush knew he had a way to persuade Israeli Prime Minister Sharon to come to his way of thinking…

“Mmmmm..chocolate!”

In light of the recent revealing of the songs on Bush’s IPod, “There you go know now my Sharoni, eat up them there chocolates ”
I wonder if George has a cupboard full of ‘flag cookies’. Maybe this could be part of official peace meetings from now on:
Abas: My brother, when we have signed the documents let us eat each others’ flags.
I can see a far-right Israeli site running this story with a slightly different headline:
Bush and Sharon Destroy Multiple Israeli flags at Texas Ranch
I don’t like this unilateral disengagement.
The US also said Israel should shed its Nucleur Arms recently.
As usual any criticism of the Arab world must be preceded and followed by much greater critiquing of Israel.
Same old same old.. Gulf War I etc….
This is State Dept policy with just a tad more toughness towards Arab states.
This is going to be worse than Oslo in my opinion.

Bush and Sharon look speechless and understandably so. You can’t get much cornyier than chocolates/cookies/biscuits wrapped in Israeli flags. Guess it’s the thought that counts.
