I could understand it if the woman had a pacemaker installed: electromagnetic metal detectors and X-rays may interfere with such devices- but no mention of the pacemaker in this story, not even in the Palestinian sorces. What she COULD die from, I think, is fear. An ill elderly woman told nightmarish fairy tales about "Zionist death chamber", as they call this device in Rafah, could get a heart failure from the fear alone- and the blame is on those who are spreading the rumors.
