With Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes getting engaged, the doomsayers are not giving them much of a chance.
British bookmakers were doubtful that the marriage would be third time lucky for the actor.William Hill said there was a strong likelihood that Cruise and Holmes would last longer than his first marriage to Rogers (two years nine months), but they were unlikely to outlast his second marriage of 10 years, eight months to Kidman.“Although we think they should last three years, we feel that it is unlikely that they will last 10,” said Hill spokesman Rupert Adams. “We don’t think it is unfair to say that ten years is a very long time in showbiz.”
I disagree. I think that Cruise and Holmes may be a great match. And here are my top 5 reasons:
