The people who need to be convinced of the rightness of Israel’s position are not reading LGF. That’s the chior. If they read LGF they already support Israel. The people who need to be convinced read the centrist and left leaning blogs, and among those blogs the name LGF – and by association any cause it champions – is mud.

DB trashes LGF. I explain why I disagree, and even why LGF does more for the good name of Israel than DB. You and some other DB groupies decide I have cast aspersions on his good name. Interestingly enough, DB himself is not accusing me of this, but rather “cherry picking” my evidence of his anti-LGF ways. He also explains why he does not post about terror attacks in Israel, and I don’t continue on his case about that. At least HE is mature enough to know the difference between ad hominem attacks and criticism on a position he takes.

As for the lack of defence, what has you reading my blog have to do with reacting to disgusting comments on DB’s blog? Aspersions were cast on me over at DB’s blog (in the comments), and you, champion of the oppressed, had nothing to say. So excuse me for not taking you too seriously.

Quite frankly, I don’t see the point in us discussing this any further.

UH, hello? This is not a discussion about aspersions cast on YOUR blog, in YOUR comments, about YOU, by YOUR readers. Trust me, DB’s readers do plenty of that to him, me included. This is about YOU casting aspersions on another blogger on your blog, with no provocations. Frankly, it makes me ill. Oh, and your comment about my not speaking up in your defense? Before yesterday I’d never read your blog, so don’t take my lack of defense personally. By the same token, I’m not big on sticking up for DB when he gets trashed in HIS blog’s comments section either, because that’s his turf. This, on the other hand, is not. Which is why I am here, wasting my time explaining something you don’t want to understand, preferring instead to presume me biased.

I will spare you the embarassment of posting some of the comments I have seen on your site – comments which you have let pass without nary a rebuke or attempt at censorship.

No. Actually it does not need to imply anything, b/c I said it straight out. “I don’t doubt that you have good intentions. That doesn’t make you correct in your assessment.” No casting aspersions on his intentions there.

3. Let me clarify. The site LGF does alot of good, and is not racist. Some of his commenters say extreme things. Does that make the whole site racist?

But if you want to clarify your position, now’s your chance.

Yes, I think LGF’s posts are more supportive of Israel than DBs. That is b/c LGF deals with the issues. DB prefers to focus on other issues more, as he described in a previous comment. I concede that this doesn’t mean he doesn’t privately support Israel. But the fact remains that I take issue with his comments about LGF, and their relative PUBLIC positions on Israel IS relevant, as far as I am concerned.
