My Response to Yesterday’s Terror Attack
Aussie Dave | Aug 05, 2005 | 2 comments
For those of you coming to my blog to see my reaction to yesterday’s terror attack committed by a Jewish Israeli against innocent Arab civilians, my thoughts can be found on my latest podcast.
In short, no decent human being can not condemn this as a morally reprehensible act. The Israeli government has certainly condemned it in the strongest possible terms, as well as members of the Right. No half-hearted condemnations, or condemnations only on the basis that this murderous act “did not serve our interests” (like we hear from some other people we know).
And by the way, I was not online until I recorded my podcast. So dAWK, don’t you dare suggest that I would support terrorism. I’ll leave that to you.
Update: I could not have put it better:
Let me add one more thing, apropos the comments already left on this blog, and posts I’ve already seen elsewhere: the mob should not have killed the terrorist. But for me, that is not the story. My primary concern is what Jews do, and making sure our own house is in order. Focusing on the mob’s behaviour in the same breath as condemning the killer is a form of denial; twisting this story around to make Arab mob ethics the problem here is perverse.

The bewildering mass murder of innocent people is horrible and especially UNUSUAL as it was carried out by a 19 year old Israeli boy/man. It is certainly wrong for a Human Being to murder another Human Being. HOWEVER… calling him a “terrorist” and the act a “terror attack” is one step beyond ridiculous!
Let’s keep this horrible event in perspective… it was an act of mass murder by a very troubled young man…. NOT a terrorist.
I certainly am sad that 1 Arab was killed. Timing couln’t have been worse.
Has North Vietnam given back land to South Vietnam? Has Britian given back the Faulklands?
I’m missing something here.
The ‘Palestinians’ were offered land in Jordan but the Jordanians said NO!. You may visit, my brother, but as Allah as my witness, you must stay with the Israelis.
Logical.
Now for the one that always gets me– suicide bomber. DUMMIES– suicide involves 1 person.
But don’t you feel some compassion for a person who commits suicide.
But what do we feel towards someone who commits HOMICIDE. That murderous sob.
