Sarah Wynter, the Aussie actress who played Jack Bauer’s girlfriend Kate Warner in 24, has tied the knot with her Jewish boyfriend.
Wynter, 32, and Manhattan-based magazine editor Peres walked down the aisle to a classical bridal waltz at 4.40pm.The ceremony was understood to have been conducted by a celebrant to accommodate Peres’ Jewish heritage and Wynter’s Christian faith.A private, $4 million mansion owned by businessman John McNiven was hired for the intimate reception.Guests began arriving in sparkling Mercedes and BMWs from 3.30pm.Peres’ family and relatives, who flew in from the US on Tuesday, were ferried in a minibus from the Park Hyatt in Circular Quay to the Vaucluse reception.Last night’s reception topped off a week of celebrating for the glamour couple. After the ceremony. the wedding party danced to the Jewish song Havah Nagilah.
