I heard from someone in the know a while ago that the Israeli government were toying with the idea of inviting some of these bloggers to Israel.

Dear Dave, I think that also blogs like yours and many others that show a human face of Israel contribute to the effort to counteract the demonization of Israel.

From the reactions I get on my blog, it seems that many people abroad are grateful to be reminded that there is an Israeli side, too, and that we are human beings, not belligerent robots.

Personally, I find it easier today to deal with unfair portrayal of our country in the media because I rely on you and others to react, and I myself react on my blog. And the influence of blogs is growing. So I share your optimism.
