Lost

In case your’e wondering, the Eagles ended up losing in the Grand Final..by four friggin’ points!!

 

Last time the Eagles lost in a Grand Final, I was inconsolable. Then again, my priorities in life were different. But now, while I do enjoy sports as escapist fare, it all seems pretty trivial in the grand scheme of things, especially in light of recent world events.

 

Mind you, had they won, I would have been over the moon.
