Analyze This

In an article entitled “Will Pajamas Media Wake Up Blogs?”, David Cohn of Wired News flatters one Richard Silverstein.

Louder criticism surrounds which editors Pajamas Media is choosing, as some think the venture will be partial to blogs that reflect Pajamas’ political viewpoint. Richard Silverstein has analyzed some of the bigger names in Pajamas Media to show their conservative tilt in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, saying that their viewpoints are farther to the right than Ariel Sharon’s.

Did he say “analyzed”? I have to take issue with that, unless what he means by “analyzed” is made sweeping statements about blogs he has hardly read, misrepresented some of these blogs (and then covered it up), and refused to address the arguments against his diatribe. Silverstein himself inadvertently reveals just how much thoughtful analysis went into his post, as evidenced by this excuse for the preponderance of spelling errors.

As for spelling your blog name wrong, that’s been corrected even before I read your comment. Comes from writing the post at 2 AM.

(Hat tip: Daily Scorecard, who has a more thorough analysis. And I mean that in the proper sense of the word).

Odd. Silverstein hasn’t mentioned my views, and they’re pretty much “Kill every Palestinian, let Satan sort them out.”

    Go figure.
