Breathing a Sigh of Relief

You remember those words by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad? You know, the whole “let’s wipe Israel off the map” thing? Well, much to my relief, the Iranian regime has assured us that they have no such plans.
Iran says it has no intention to attack Israel despite a call by its president to have it “wiped off the map”.
Iran’s foreign ministry said Tehran respected the UN charter and had never used or threatened to use force.
Boy, that’s a relief! Because we can all trust the Iranians. And we can all trust that if they did have such plans, they would admit to them. After all, that element-of-surprise thing is so 80′s.
