As for the demonstrations themselves: Wow! I'd like to have seen similar reactions here in Germany! But alas, the economic ties to the mullahs are probably too good. The Al-Quds-Lunacy in Berlin (yes, you read right) was met by about 3-400 person strong anti-demonstration. But 15,000? I'm awed. I grew up in Toronto and there were friendly relations between the Italians and the Jews. Prior to to WW2 there was the infamous "Christie Pit Riots" invloving some local anti-semites and some Jews afetr a baseball game.
