Emanuele Ottolenghi suggests in NRO that the best way to slow down Iran’s nuclear clock is to wipe them from the soccer playing map. In other words, if Iran doesn’t play ball with the international community, then they shouldn’t be allowed to play ball.
But that’s not all. He suggests that the Israeli team should replace the Iranian one at the soccer World Cup.
I like the way he thinks. I’m just not sure it would work.
