The population stat on the Iranian Jews living in Iran however, was my big mistake. May I say that the number “150000″ is an old 1940s stat from prior to the 1948 establishment of Israel. Since then there has been two major waves of Iranian Jews migrating out of Iran. One was the post ’48 mass exodus of Iranian Jews who chose to move to the Holy land, where about fifty percent of them left Iran. The second mass exodus of course, was after the 1979 Islamist terrorist occupation of Iran. Since ’79, and due to severe persecution of course, all but a population of LESS than 15000 Jews, have left Iran, this time migrating mostly to the United States.

there are about 15 to 20k Jews in Iran, not 150,000.

That is indeed fantastic.

May in the future, when Iran is free, the Iranian and Jewish people once again be friends as they traditionally were in the past and may the Iranian people once again become the great nation and great power for good that they once famously were.
