Reflects my opinion on this matter perfectly. This was actually the argument I used to debate this issue with my folks. Surprisingly, they pulled out the old "we should be better than them!" Which I rebutted as being condescending to Arabs. If you lower the standard of morality for someone else because they're somehow different, you are, at least in my opinion, condescending.By the way, if you're interested in a Danish perspective on this -- still written in English, however --, check out my tiny, insignificant blog at eikcl.blogspot.com and just read the latest post.
