The only reason he is still in hospital, is that he is needed for Kadima's success. Stories about him opening up eyes do not sound medicaly feasible, but there was also some talk about him saying some words. If that were true, then his condition must have detiriorated since then, because nothing of the sort been since reported. I am sure that if he actually openned his eyes at some point, they would be saying he is having conversations about future of Israel with Olmert.
