Quote of the Day

“I don’t like the world. I don’t think it’s being run correctly and I think it could be done a lot better. The news is manipulated and managed and it’s all meant to scare you. They don’t show you anything good. They don’t show you anything good coming out of Iraq; all they say is, ‘This many soldiers dead since Bush took office.’ I don’t have to look too far to find that glare. All I have to do is think about the world my daughters will inherit and I get that look in my eyes.”

- Hollywood actor Bruce Willis (for previous Willisms, see here and here)

Update: And then you have celebrities like Alec Baldwin:

Cheney is a terrorist. He terrorizes our enemies abroad and innocent citizens here at home indiscriminately.

“There are causes worth fighting for even if you know that you will lose. Unless you are willing to accept torture as part of a normal American political lexicon, unless you are willing to accept that leaving the Geneva Convention is fine and dandy, if you accept the expansion of wiretapping as business as usual, the only way to express this now is to embrace the difficult and perhaps embarrassing process of impeachment.”

And you’re finding fault with what Dreyfuss said? Granted, Baldwin is a little strong, but it isn’t as if Cheney didn’t bring those descriptions upon himself.
