As it stands, the polls
indicate that Olmert should be able to set up a coalition that supports
his unilateral withdrawal plan. However, since floating voters account
for 28 seats, the actual election results could end up being
drastically different from those indicated by the polls.
On the day before the elections, Likud’s Bibi toured the Western Wall, Labor’s Amir Peretz toured yuppy Tel Aviv, and Kadima’s Ehud Olmert met with someone who’s name sounds like an eye condition.
A day after Labor’s Amir Peretz accused Kadima leaders of incitement that led to the Rabin assassination, Rabin’s son threw his weight behind Kadima. Sucks to be Peretz.
Kadima’s first evacuation – and they haven’t even won the election yet.
And as I prepare to go to the polls tomorrow, I am still undecided as to whom I will be voting. None of the parties capture my imagination, so it could all depend on which side of the bed I roll out tomorrow morning.
