A Brother to Apple

Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow has given birth to a baby boy, a brother to their daughter Apple.
The good news (for the boy) is that Paltrow and her hubby – Coldplay frontman Chris Martin – have not named him after a fruit.
The bad news is they have named him Moses.
Yep..Moses Martin.
There should be a law against this kind of child abuse.

Did you know that Ms. Paltrow is actually a descendant (through her father, not mother), of the Shulchan Aruch commentator, the T’az? His last name was somethign like Paltrovitz.
My wife’s late father is also a descendant of the Taz. Hey – free tickets for life, maybe?????
If I’m not mistaken, Paltrow’s mother is a Quaker. Maybe a lifetime stock of oats, too? Oops! Erev Pesach!
